2. From Bouncer To Pope
Pope Francis is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Before he studied in the seminary, he worked in industries not known to be associated with the church. He worked as a chemical technologist and nightclub bouncer. He became an ordained priest in 1969 and became a cardinal in 2001 by Pope John Paul II.
