2. Inspired To Serve
Mueller earned his bachelor’s degree at Princeton University at the height of the Vietnam War. He went on to graduate with his master’s from New York University in 1967. While at school, a young Mueller played lacrosse. His former teammate David Spencer was killed in the war. This inspired him to serve his country.
