2. It’s Not You, It’s Hillary Clinton
Originally, James Comey was fired as the FBI Director by President Trump due to claims that he irresponsibly handled the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. You may remember that two weeks before the election, Comey announced that there was a new batch of Clinton emails to investigate. These emails were sent from her illegal server during her time as Secretary of State.
It’s controversial on whether or not this investigation caused Clinton’s loss.
