8. Locked Up On Gun Charges
Weezy was sentenced to a year in prison after an illegally owned firearm was found on his tour bus. He was released from Rikers Island after serving eight months of his sentence. While he was locked up, both Drake and Nicki Minaj released hugely successful records; when he was released, he was welcomed back, too. It seemed like he’d just taken a long vacation from the game.
