8. During A Date, He Was Robbed At Gunpoint
In his home city of Toronto, no less. In 2009, just before shooting into the celebrity stratosphere with his album “Thank Me Later,” Drake was leaving a restaurant with his date when two armed gunmen threatened to shoot Drake if he didn’t hand over his jewelry and cash. Drake handed over a $7,000 dollar watch and $2,000 dollars in cash.
The robbers were quickly arrested by the police after driving down the wrong way of a one-way street.
