$1 Pizza Slices Will Restore Your Faith In Humanity

Leaving your Wall St. job to start up a Pizzeria in a big city like Philadelphia sounds practically insane. But, when passion for acquiring your goals and dreams overcomes the desire for maintaining financial security (at the cost of having a mundane job), the results are incredible. Mason Wartman serves a great example of such peoples.

Upon quitting his desk job, Mason Wartman decided to open up the Rosa’s Fresh Pizza in Philadelphia. When one of his patrons decided to pay forward for the next slice for someone in need, Mason decided that he wanted this to be the theme of his restaurant. Homelessness is a huge concern in almost all big cities and Philadelphia is no exception. Luckily, Mason’s pizzeria helps provide some relief for those in dire need of a hot meal.

It came as quite a surprise to read some of the negative comments on Youtube – shocking, we know! A few stated that a concept like this will make homelessness appealing; this is simply appalling. Watching members of our society struggle to survive should make us feel sick and by no means should we ever demean them (further) by thinking that they will abuse such concepts. Most people almost never take the time out of there day to extend a helping hand to the homeless and those who do make a significant difference deserve to be praised! However, it was nice to see that most commenters brought healthy positive energy! Tell us how you feel about it?

Further, the pizza itself seems quite delicious – it certainly received the stamp of approval by one New Yorker. Head on over to Rosa’s Fresh Pizza if you ever find yourself in Philadelphia craving pizza and doing a good deed at the same time!
