Amazing HUMAN Powered Theme Park Uses Humans To Operate!

Some of my favorite memories growing up were from the grand escapades I experienced at theme parks. Six Flags, Universal, Hershey Park, Busch Gardens – I would visit them all if I could (and have a decent majority of them!). Although I don’t go as much as I would prefer to, I still make time to go at least once a year!

However, the kid in me breathed in new life when I came across Ai Pioppi. Located about an hour away from Venice, Italy, Ai Pioppi is a restaurant that is home to a human powered theme park. Created by a man named Bruno, the project took roughly 40 years to come to become a reality. Here’s to another reason why going to Italy at least once is a must!

So what do we mean by human powered? It means that every ride in this park requires you to use kinetic energy (produced by your efforts) to get things going. The host of the video paddling to get the Bicycle of Death is an example!

Getting a workout and enjoying dangerous rides..sign me up please! The park is closed on good portion of the weekdays and on winters also – so plan your trip accordingly.

Strict parental supervision is recommended if you are bringing young children along – the park is all metal and so self-restrains must be heavily applied even if you are an adult. The last thing this place needs is aggressive visitors who get hurt – resulting in the place getting a bad reputation or worse, shutting down.
