Well, it appears that yesterday in Sun City, AZ two llamas captured everyone’s attention has they broke loose from their owner and gave a town quite a “run.” These llamas were being taken to visit a former llama rancher at an assisted living facility for animal therapy when they escaped, a spokesman for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office told the Arizona Republic. Three llamas were originally together when the trailer door opened, but only two made their escape.
These llamas not only captured the attention of the town trying to run them down, but also social media, I mean what else are people going to talk about on Twitter all day? As CNN broke the news social media kept a close watch on the llamas on the run.
The chase ended in a very fitting way for Arizona chase, with a lasso and a pick-up truck.
