President Obama Reads Mean Tweets About Himself

Taking criticism is a quality of a good leader. But those who can take criticism and find humor in it have a character of a true champion.

Jimmy Kimmel Live has a segment of their show dedicated to reading mean tweets. This week’s special guest was President Barack Obama. This is not the first time President Obama has used comedy as a platform, he has done a skit with Buzzfeed, participated in a hilarious segment on the Colbert Report, got interviewed by Zack Galifianakis’ show Between Two Ferns, and a few more.

The reasons behind his appearances have been to allow him to connect with the younger (not so politically involved) crowd; the idea is to introduce The Affordable Care Act to them and encourage them to seek awareness on the concept. This makes sense because The Affordable Care Act will symbolize President Obama’s legacy – and it’s a noteworthy one to say the least. Universal Health Care is a huge milestone in American history. Granted that there maybe things about the act that may not favor everybody immediately, it could result in being one of the biggest achievements made by this country – given enough productive teamwork and effort is dedicated towards it.

Check out the hilarious video; love him or hate him, when was the last time a president made you (intentionally) laugh?
