Outer space is filled with fascinating mysteries. Out of the millions of stars and planetary bodies that exist in its vastness, the moon certainly ranks high in importance. It is safe to assume that most of us have seen the moon, but what some might not be aware of is that we almost always see the same side of the moon. This discovery has led many to curate theories about a possible alien hideout on the “dark side” to amazing musical records – courtesy of the one great Pink Floyd.
Until sending man-made satellites was a possibility, far-fetched notions of conspiracies were difficult to dismiss. But now, not only have we explored the dark side, but we have also become knowledgeable as to why we only see one of its sides.
